Introduction: I have been house sitting in the Overland Park area for over 9 years now and come highly recommended. My intentions for my dog sitting service is to make your time away easy for both you and your dogs. I do prefer to stay at the dog's home to make them comfortable. I do like to stick to the dogs schedules as much as possible while staying with them, including eating times, walking, medications, treats, etc. I send several update texts and pictures through out your time away so that you know how your dog is doing and you can see for yourself the happiness of the dogs. Please feel free to ask any further questions or for references. I enjoy dog sitting because I just love dogs!! I love interacting with their different personalities. I don't own dogs at the time, so I fulfill my need to be around them by providing the service for others. My services start at $50/night for up to 2 dogs. Any additional dog is an additional $10/dog per night. I do offer a discount for stays longer than 7 nights. Night 8 thru end will receive a discount on those days.

Erica is amazing. She has stayed with my dog twice at my house when I was out of town. I would highly recommend her. It was such a peace of mind to have her sending pictures of how my dog was doing while I was gone. Thank you Erica!!

We called Erica at the last minute to sit for us for 5 days. She was understandable and flexible. She took PERFECT care of our two large dogs allowed them to be lap dogs at 65 and 45 pounds. We came home to a clean home with happy dogs. You couldn’t ask for more from a dog sitter.

I charge per night based on size and how many dogs starting at $45/night. If I am needed to stay more than 9 nights, I will offer a discount.

I like to chat via phone call or text to determine your needs and then schedule a meet and greet with the dogs before agreeing to stay with them in your home.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was attending a party at a family friends house and couldn't stay away from the dogs. We started to chat about my love for dogs and how I worked for my aunts doggie daycare. She asked me if I was interested in staying with the dogs, since she traveled often and didn't like to send them to a kennel. Eventually, I was sitting for her at least once per month as well as many of the neighbors.
