- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge different rates for travel cost because some students are closer or further away from my home. I have to be able to cover my gas prices and wear and tear on my car.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Besides talking to other music educators, I try to look up ways on teaching on the internet or through organizations as MENC or ASTA.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
After figuring out my first year of college I couldn't do a whole lot with a degree in performance I switched gears and decided to pursue music eduction as a fall back and has ultimately turned to my full time position for me in the last 3 years.
