For shooting video, I usually have a day rate and a half-day rate. For editing, I usually have an hourly rate. Both of these can be adjusted based on the client's budget and needs.

Passion and experience make a difference. If you are wanting top quality video production that suits your needs, find someone who is really in love with what they do, and find someone who has honed their skills through years of practice.
