Being a first timer I was nervous but Brunner is very down to earth. The classes are set up in a way that it is easy to jump right in. The other gym members are all unique and friendly which keep the classes fun and interesting. No complaints at all !!!

After some issues with my ex fiance, I found Alex had classes for self defence. I expected him to be some karate instruor with contracts or some big scary dude who wanted to "teach me wrestling"), but instead he was a very professional, understanding and down to earth guy. He asked the type I wanted, (sport fighting, personal issues, or just basic knowledge), and helped teach me not only ways to protect myself, but also ways to avoid bad situations and ways to talk down fights. Thankfully, I haven't needed to physically protect myself yet, but the confidence that I have now has made me less afraid.
