"At the highest levels of athletic competition, following a specific training regimen is universally recognized as a critical part of athletic success. Today, no one should need convincing of the need for athlete-specific training to optimize performance – the stronger the athlete, the better they will perform.
Athletic Strength Institute combines a professional training environment with progressive strength training methods that have been proven at every level of competition – from amateur to Olympic. Chris holds level 2 Certifications from the Poliquin Performance Institute in both performance and BioSignature.
When developing an athlete, we prioritize correcting their physical limitations (strengthening weak muscles, improving flexibility, restoring proper movement patterns, etc.). By thoroughly addressing these physical imbalances first, we better prepare the athlete to maximize their potential in traditional strength and power exercises, which translates to improved performance.
When properly implemented, traditional strength and power exercises result in improved performance and an increased ability of the athlete to handle the physical demands of their sport. This approach ensures continued improvements in performance and long-term athletic success.
You do not have to be an athlete or first-responder to train at ASI. You do, however, have to be willing to give 100% every rep of every set and follow our advice.
