I hired her to teach my four year old daughter beginning piano and even though we just started, my daughter cannot stop talking about her. Excellent with children and very knowledgeable, comfortable setting for adults and children to learn.

My boys, now ages 11 and 7, have both taken piano lessons from Janet since they were each 5 years old. Our boys love Janet and we wouldn't take them anyplace else for lessons! She is great with communication, her lessons are easy for the boys to understand and her recitals are always so much fun! I would most definitely recommend JJ's Piano Studio.

As an adult student who hasn't taken lessons for years, I wasn't sure what to expect with online piano lessons. Chelsea has made it easy to start lessons again and she makes me want to practice! She is encouraging, finds music I like, has a "good ear" to detect my errors, and has an "easy to understand" approach to teaching. I highly recommend her!

oWe love taking lessons with Ms. Julie! My boys played in their school talent show after lessons for 2 years. Three people came up to me and asked me who they take lessons from because they played so well and their music was so challenging. She inspires them to play pieces they didn't know they could and works with them to find pieces they would love (namely, Star Wars) :)

About

I have a very diversified studio. Because I grew up in a musical household, and because I've pursued it most of my adult life, I have the opportunity to offer lessons on multiple instruments. My studio is also diversified in that I've taught every age group, in both individual and group instruction. This gives me a breadth of ability to communicate to any age group. Stylistically, I've played and taught both contemporary and classical. For example, I've played violin in orchestras, and I've played on worship teams in churches. This depth of experience helps me communicate more effectively and relate at whatever level my students are at.

I'm a piano teacher. I offer beginning piano lessons. Learn by reading notes and learn all the basic theory. I prefer ages 6 and up -- children who can read do better in learning to read music.
