FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have had an average for most of these years for the overnight and 24 hour services. However, distance can contribute to an increase in your cost due to fuel expenses. Another reason for an increase in charge can be large numbers of animals. I typically do not charge per animal(many households have 3, 4 and 5 pets) However, when you have 17 animals needing care it is more detailed and time consuming. I will assess the circumstances at the "meet and greet" and you will have a firm quote by the end of our visit.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I first provide what I refer to as a meet and greet(free of charge) where I come to your home at your convenience, visit with you and the animals in need of care. I have you fill out what I refer to as a generic application, which is general information about your animals that I keep on file and with me when visiting your home. If at this time you believe I am a fit for your animal care needs then we discuss future arrangements for keys, codes, etc...
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 22 years experience including working with S.E.A.(school of exotic animals), work and volunteer work for TSPCA and Tulsa Humane Society, doggy daycare and kennel assistant in both the state of Oklahoma and Kansas. The majority of my experience is hands on, accumulating a lot of knowledge in more than 20 years.
