- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do not have complicated pricing, but I do give a discount on your next massage if you refer someone to me and he/she mentions your referral at their massage appointment. My 1 hour massages are $60, and my 1 1/2 hour massages are $90. If you refer someone to me, then your next 1 hour massage will be $50, or your next 1 1/2 hour massage will be $80!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I attend specialized workshops as they are held at the therapeutic massage school where I received my 500 hour professional massage therapy training, and in August of this year I will attend a 4 day workshop in Kansas City to be certified in teaching infant massage! I'm very excited about this as I will be able to hold classes and educate parents, grandparents, and caregivers how to massage infants, which has been proven to relieve colic and GERD, for example.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked extensively with pregnant customers throughout all stages of pregnancy, I work with a customer who is paralyzed from the waist down, I have worked wtih customers who have had muscle injuries, scoliosis, TMJ, headaches and migraines, fibromyalgia, arthritis, sciatica, low back pain, and shoulder injuries, all of whom have received much relief from massage therapy. I truly find my work to be incredibly rewarding, and giving people relief from pain and discomfort is what I love about this profession.
