Coach Kate is personable, knowledgeable and encouraging. She educates you about the whys and wherefores of your training while working with you on technique. I think I was an interesting case for Kate I have cerebral palsy , classified as a disability this condition can affect the body in many different ways. If left untreated or not dealt with properly A person can have a very poor Quality of life. Kate was willing to take me on without not having dealt with cerebral palsy before and boy did she succeed. She is always eager to try new things , And together both trainer and client came up with a routine that was helpful in all fields I am a type a person needs motivation, Positive reinforcement, and the understanding of what I’m doing and it’s benefits, to attempt something as difficult as physical exercise Kate provided all three of these during our sessions. With a willingness to be taught herself and learn from others, she is a great personal trainer and I would recommend her to anyone with or without a disability. I am so thankful she was willing to take me on as a client. Kate brings in a level of professionalism and experience that is difficult to find elsewhere. She keeps track of workouts, provides helpful advice on nutrition, and remembers your goals and thinks about what you as her client need. I personally am grateful to have a good trainer like Kate, because it makes me more motivated in all aspects of my life, not just fitness. - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Hiring me, you are hiring a professional. I am insured and my certification is in good standing, which means I’m up to date on 1st aid/CPR and my CEUs. Single session fee is $60/hr. Paying for more sessions in advance brings price per hour down to $50 Couples Training add $10/hr per extra person In Home Sessions add $10-25hr Cash, Google pay, Venmo, Zelle bank transfers or credit card accepted. No personal checks, please.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Initially we will chat by phone to discuss fitness goals, current and past fitness experience, and any medical issues that I need to be aware of. Then we discuss fees, schedule, and location. I believe clients will have better success if they connect with their trainer, and training is focused on the individual and their specific goals and abilities.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I am certified through International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA) and qualified by TRX to train clients with TRX. I am also temporary black belt in Tae Kwon Do.
