Molding or baseboards,
They have done a terrible job with my house and ended up creating a huge mold problem that had to be corrected by a professional mold mitigation company costing over $5000 more than what I paid for them to the repairs in the first place.Jan 21, 2015VerifiedR and T Home Repairs's reply
At this time we have no idea what this customer is talking about. We have contacted Thumbtack to find out more information. We did electrical work for her in early September.
Richard and Tina responded immediately after posting my search. They offered to come over that day for a free quote and actually did the repairs the same day. They arrived on time, The quote was reasonable and the work was excellent. They went out of their way to make sure we were satisfied. We would definitely recommend them and will call them again for future projects.Dec 23, 2014Verified
R&T hung several heavy pictures and curtain rods for me. Took about an hour. Arrived on time and got right to work, Very efficient and knowledgeable. Had all supplies needed with them. Work was completed quickly. Only concern was R&T did not provide a cost estimate at the beginning (they said they needed to see what needed to be done first), and their actual cost was much higher than 2 other bids I received.Jun 26, 2014Verified
Richard did exactly what I asked of him, and exactly what he told me he would do. Good, quality work was completed. I would use him again.May 10, 2014Verified
Richard is an absolute crook and a thug. He cuts corners whenever he can if you aren't looking, despite them being very dangerous electrical situations. He pretends to be an electrician, but he has no certification and many of the things he does are dangerous situations waiting to happen. One of many examples is him using thin speaker wire (20 gauge) to install a 110 volt light fixture (serious fire hazard) and when he was caught doing it, he made up some ridiculous lie about the wire being "new technology" , and able to handle higher voltages (seriously, that is what he said). He then threatened me physically when I told him to remove the fixture and that I wasn't paying him, and he told me that Hitler should have "finished off your (Jewish) people". You do not want this dangerous thug in your home or anywhere near you or your family, and certainly not in your home near your children or wife. I have never given such a poor review of anyone, but this guy is not only incompetent, he is dangerous.Feb 2, 2018Verified
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? Our pricing is not complicated. We do prefer to look at the proposed work before giving a fixed price. This way we are able to see all that is involved and discuss with client their wants/needs. After doing so, we can give a fixed price that does not change.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?We monitor new codes being suggested and stay up to date with all codes passed.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?We have helped several clients renovate homes for their parents. With our prices they were able to get the homes completely done. We are proud to help people reach their dreams.
