I hosted a baby shower for my best friend and needed the event catered. I was a little hesitant to use thumbtack for the simple reason I needed top of the line food and service. Jessica had a lot of positive reviews and was reasonably priced, so I decided to give her a shot. I can't possibly put into words how happy I am that she was available on Thumbtack. She went above and beyond on so many levels. Our food was absolutely delicious and looked amazing! From the presentation to the taste, she nailed it!

Jesi helped me plan two wedding ceremonies in about a month and a half and was even the officiant for both! My husband and I wanted a small ceremony on a Tuesday night and a larger ceremony on a Saturday. Jesi accommodated this dream of ours and went above and beyond with planning. Everything was perfect and exactly how I wanted it. She handled the stressful aspects of planning and allowed me to prepare myself for our wonderful ceremonies. i was totally suprised, happy. and overwhelmed at the catering of our anniversary celebration it was planned for 75 guests, which extended to 86. there was enough food to accommodate all. the taste was superb. The food was tasty and seasoned perfectly. the display and decor was appropriate for the occasion. the setup was pleasing for all ages. Food was hot and served in a timely and professional manner. I was blown away by Carla when planning a baby shower for my daughter. Value, work quality, professionalism, timeliness, communication, coming in under budget, I absolutely could not have asked for more. Carla's attention to detail and creativity left me with a lasting impression. And did I mention that Every decoration and party favor were all hand made. My granddaughter is now almost three years old and the decorations from her shower are still central pieces of the dÃ©cor in her room. I'm a highly anxious individual and I was/am so impressed with Carla's ability to weed through the madness of my mind and deliver a shower that moved me to tears. I look forward to an opportunity to plan another event with Carla. The only thing I will do differently is to TRUST her the next time. It's her calling and she knows what she is doing.
P's and Q's has provided decorations and food for two birthday parties - one for my husband and one for me. The attention to detail was spot-on and the food was delicious! We recently held a fund raiser for the Marine Corp Toys for Tots Foundation who were victims of crime. Tim and Ken came forward to volunteer their companies services and to walk us thru this process. Kristie is awesome to work with. She goes the extra mile to make wedding dreams come true. If we showed her an example of something we liked she new how to get it, either by making it herself or where to get it.We had a destination wedding and Kristie came to the beach and worked so hard to get us what we wanted.We came home and had a beautiful reception. So many guests replied " it looked like something out of a magazine" it was gorgeous. Kristie spent a lot of time with us working on every detail. She even MADE beautiful hair accessories that looked like antique brooches,found mothers gifts, bridesmaids gifts, she did it all, flowers, food , music, venue, photography. There are so many decisions and details with a wedding that we couldn't have done it with out her. She is so talented and has the best ideas. I would use her services again for parties, dinners, receptions, showers, loved working with her.
I’m going to attempt to write a review that does justice to just how amazing of a job Mary did in helping us with our wedding and how appreciative we are, but I don’t know if words could even describe it! I live 9 hours away from my hometown of Cincinnati, which was where we were going to hold the wedding, so I knew from the start that I would need the help of a wedding planner, since I was so far away for a lot of the planning process. Even in my initial phone calls to different wedding planners, Mary stood out to me. She seemed the most interested in what my vision was and also the most down to earth. She was very upfront and honest about what would be realistic and did such a fantastic job of helping provide suggestions within our specific parameters (date, budget, style, location, etc.) One of my favorite things about Mary is she always gave me all the tools and information we needed to make important decisions about the wedding, but she never would push us in a specific direction. I really appreciated this, because I am a really bad decision-maker. I waffle back and forth between options and often feel regret after deciding. There were definitely some decisions when I just wanted Mary to tell me what to do, but I’m so glad that she never did. Because of the information she gave us, we were able to choose wisely, and because we were forced to make the decision ourselves without the outside pressure from someone else, we felt confident in our reasoning, and had zero regrets throughout the entire wedding process. (That’s a really big deal for me!) Mary was so thorough and thought of everything. She absolutely knows her stuff when it comes to weddings and receptions. The day of the wedding, everything flies by so fast, and you’re so caught up in it that you completely forget about details you spent hours or even days planning. But thanks to Mary, we didn’t have to worry about forgetting anything.
I hired Amelia to plan my sons 2nd birthday party. It was my first time using a party planner so I wasn't sure what to expect. I could not have been happier with the experience!!! She is a pleasure to deal with and takes the time to fully understand your vision for the party. She put in so much effort making our safari theme perfect, including hand making our party invitations and party signs. We received so many compliments from our guests on everything from our decor to our snacks. The animal shaped, grilled cheese sandwiches were a huge hit with everyone at the party. Not only were they adorable but they were delicious too! Our party ran smoothly and I was actually able to sit back and enjoy the day with my family. I highly recommend Amelia and will be using her again to plan our future parties.
Angela and her team was very good. She was able to provide decoration for my event on a very short notice. I found her work top-notch. She is very reliable and will plan everything beforehand to make sure you get what you want. She will provide you a list of sample pictures of items to choose from. She works independently. I would definitely highly recommend Angela for any event decoration.
