FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge an hourly rate per hour for labor for base painting walls, trim, ceilings and doors. The hourly rate is increased when doing faux finishes, murals, canvas paintings, etc.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I meet with the client at their home or business. I do a walk through with the client to observe the space(s) they are wanting painted. I base the estimate on how large the room is, how much wall repair/prep is needed, how much paint will be required and how long the project will take. My estimates are very accurate. A client's final bill is almost always right on what the original estimate was and sometimes even a little lower.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I took four years of art during my high school years. I studied "Studio Art" for two years in college followed by one year of illustration. My art classes included drawing, design, color theory, and art history.
