Dawn Murell organized and choreographed a flash mob for The Louisville TimeBank, which happened at the Mighty Kindness Earth Day Hootenanny on River Road. She did an amazing job! The choreography was simple yet very visually effective and she did a great job of incorporating specialist participants, such as the Swing dancers from New Lou Swing group and flag twirlers. The music that she put together was a great montage of songs that most everyone was familiar with and ended with the iconic Time Warp, which really engaged the crowd. Dawn was a lot of fun to work with. She didn't make anything seem too overwhelming and was informative with the info/steps, including Facebook and via phone. She welcomed any outside ideas by incoorporated other swing dancers to start it off. The dance was about 4 minutes long. I worked with her on my first flash mob and looking forward to more to come!

Had the distinct pleasure of work with Dawn Murrell on a large community public event that our nonprofit organization, Global Game Changers, held at the Muhammad Ali Center. Dawn choreographed a dance to go with our theme song that young kiddos throughout Louisville performed at the event. She is very talented and professional; always on time and prepared. I look forward to working with her on future projects. It was a very positive experience for all!

How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started organizing flash mobs for friends because I enjoyed dancing and choreography. It was a labor of love for me. Then when interest grew, people started asking me for bigger and more complex projects. I wanted to give 100% to any customer who wants a flash mob and thats why I wanted to start my own business.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Summer Events are popular for flash mobs. Wedding proposal flash mobs are also very popular. I have choreographed flash mobs to promote and market non profit businesses. I choregraphed a flash mob to promote awareness for the environment and we performed it on Earth Day. No idea is too small or too crazy.
