Q. What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
A. I log onto my edit program's user group to see what the latest issues are. I also add new gear and software yearly to stay on top of the video technology.
Q. Do you have a standard pricing system for your service? If so, please share the details here.
A. For events the video prices are primarily based on amount of time needed and number of camera angles. The main option for the dj service (besides time needed) is lighting.
Q. How did you get started doing this type of work?
A. I studied radio and television production in college.
Q. What types of customers have you worked with?
A. Weddings are number one followed by all other types of celebrations and corporate/web type production.
Q. Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
A. Last year I produced a short information video for Toyota to showcase one the charities that they co-sponsor with United Way called "Born Learning" . It involved traveling to different locations and interviewing teachers, parents and even the governor. This footage combined with B-Roll made up the finished production.
Q. What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
A. Be sure to view detailed samples for video work and ask express your expectations clearly. It doesn't hurt to meet the dj who is handling your event so that you can have that face to face interaction.

professionals about their project?
A. I wish that people would recognize the value of experience and dedication in this business.
