- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My brother-in-law was in it and I help him out for a little bit and I liked what I was doing so I continue doing carpeting,then I learned how to do laminate & hardwood.Thats pretty much how it all started.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I think that the consumer shouldn't buy from the big,home improvement stores,just because of the ads they have.They are very misleading.The consumer doesn't understand that your installation is free,trust me we don't install for free.So what the big home improvement stores do is mark up the carpet and the pad.I think that they should give the little guy a shot at their business.I give the same warranty as they do,you get whatever warranty comes with the carpet that you purchase.Hope this is helpful in you making your purchase. - What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
I guess just how heavy the carpet is and how rough the backing is on most of the carpets. As for the doors there heavy also,but that means that there made right.
