He is such a great teacher and so knowledgeable! My fist lesson was for guitar and after watching him play a little bit on piano I signed up for that as well. He makes me laugh and feel very comfortable and at ease. He is like a super nice grandpa that you just want to hug. (Which I did get a hug for doing a good job once!) He really knows his stuff, he explains things very well and thoroughly. He will join in and play and sing with your lesson to help you with timing and rhythm. He works with your schedule, which was great for me because I work on a rotating schedule and am on 2nd shift. His lessons are very affordable and once you are done with your lesson he gives you candy! Who wouldn't like that? :) I would highly recommend him for anyone wanting to learn guitar or piano. If your are just starting out and want to give it a try before buying an instrument he rents instruments and sells them. Don't be afraid and give it a shot. I recommend him to everyone I know. I'm a 28 year old female who knew basic piano and had no prior knowledge about guitar. I came in knowing how to read music, treble and bass clef.

My son just started taking piano lessons from David. David was patient and thorough in in explaining theory of piano, for an 8 year old can understand. I am grateful and excited because I know there are a lot that he can teach to my son.

I was actually taking my 6 year old special needs grandson for his 1st guitar lesson but David, my wife and I agreed that he probably needs to be a little older before he begins learning to play. However, I was so impressed with Davids patience and his method of musical training, that I decided to start lessons of my own. I'm truly looking forward to learning music and guitar from this kind and knowledgeable man.

I am 69 years old and I had my first lesson with David this morning and am very happy that I found him. He is very knowledgeable and explains thing in a way that made it easy to understand. I have taken lessons before and know how to read tab so I hoped to start farther down the line, but David insisted that we start at the beginning and that I learn to read music. After his explanation and this first lesson I am glad he did and I look forward to many more lessons.

David was so nice! I have never picked up an instrument before and as an adult starting from scratch seemed daunting. He started with the basics and I plan to continue the lessons! Two thumbs up!
