FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The way I typically go about the nutrition counseling is to start with a nutrition assessment. This would include obtaining some background on your nutrition and health. From there I would evaluate the assessment to help determine some nutrition recommendations. We can then work together to set goals for you. If you are happy with this initial visit we can continue to work together to monitor and evaluate your nutrition. I typically meet in person and the location just depends on the person. I have met anywhere from a coffee shop or have gone to the person's home to meet them. It's really whatever works for you!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I completed 4 years of undergraduate work in dietetics/nutrition. I also completed a 10 month dietetic internship. I completed 2 years of masters work in nutrition education. In order to keep my registration I must obtain 75 hours of continuing education within 5 years and in order to keep my license I must obtain 15 hours of continuing education yearly.
