- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I do! It is very important that I stay up-to-date on the world of photography and design as I have a Photoshop ACA workshop that I teach. I am also part of the Adobe Creative Cloud and therefore the programs are always updating and I am always learning more about postproduction as well as looking into new hardware technology.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always taken photos since I was little, so the photography came natural. The design side of my work came from a general education class I took my first semester in college-desktop publishing. I fell in love with it and went on to get my BA in advertising and an MA with a concentration in photography and design. It's the perfect marriage, I can take photos and use them in my work, enhance them, and create products such as calendars, cards, or packaging.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Usually I am commissioned for photo shoots, to create products such as a banner, brochure, product labeling, and event planning and implementation. I am usually combining several services for one piece or event.
