FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a graphic designer for over 15 years in the print and direct mail industry. I take classes regularly and meet with other photographers for wonderfully insightful conversations on what's new, challenges faced, and business in general.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
There is a considerable amount of time that is involved in photography, as well as the costs for the proper equipment to do the required job. A photo shoot is not just the time it takes to snap the shots there is a considerable amount more that goes into it. There is the planning, the design and concept, the equipment needed to provide the professional excellence a client deserves, and the photo editing should it be required. All of these take time and are an expense to the photographer, so they need consideration. Be sure of what you want out of your photo shoot and budget in the costs it will take to achieve the desired results. In the end, the reward is worth the extra investment you had not considered important when figuring the costs of a photographer into your budget.
