Very unprofessional!! May take "some" good shots but most def. wouldnt recommend for weddings! All of my precious moments were absolutely not captured...i had several people ask me where my photographer was and two ppl tell me she was on her phone somewhere! She was late, took no initiative when others were taking pics in front of her, so she disappeared for most of reception..i guess bc she was offended when instead she should expect and be prepared for those situations esp. at weddings!!! She asked me why i was not pleased and then argued and gave very unreasonable excuses for what happened! Was very rude to me! Did not get all of my pics or edits as promised..oh, and my ceremony pics were all from behind me! Didnt get hardly any of reception and dancing! She promised 6-7 hours coverage but said i went over my time even tho 4:30-10=5.5hrs! And, told me i had dbl standards bc i was upset that she was an hour and a half later than she told me and my wedding went 15 mins later!

I recently attending a wedding where Amber Kana was the photographer. Coming from a little photography background myself, I usually know what to expect out of a wedding photographer. I was very disappointed with Amber. She seemed to lack the ability to be professional. So also was not very personal with the family and wedding party. She did not take control of photography situations. She actually sat back a lot of let other people take pictures that had cameras. Which brings me to another incident I was in complete awe about..there was a lot of action going on at the dance floor and a lot of first dances and amazing photo ops but Amber was NO where to be seen. We actually thought she'd left. Turned out she was inside on her phone texting. I just believe Amber needs to grow and work on some things professionally to succeed in her photography business and also work on her communication skills with her clients. Until Amber Kana works on a lot of these issues and can admit to them, I would not recommend her to photograph another wedding.

I will NOT admit to false accusations, and you do not know our arrangements or what was said and discussed between the 2 of us. Here is a link to a preview album on Facebook. I'm sure you'll be happy to see that there is in fact a shot of the first dance, and she received many more plus dancing with her father and grandfather.

Professionally, a review page is meant exactly for what it is named. Review. It is not to be an ego boost, but to be taken as constructive criticism for you to improve the quality of your business, as well as for future customers to know what to expect when they hire you for an event.
Aside from all of that, the customer is always right. If you have a customer that is not satisfied with your work, your argument is not going to matter. They will still be unsatisfied. Probably even more than they were prior to giving you an unsatisfactory review. Also, you may have given the 1,800 pictures that were taken at the event to your client, but how many of those photos during the time of the wedding (not counting the reception) were frontal views of the bride's dress and/or face? Because there is photographic evidence of exactly how many there actually are. And I'm sure the bride has counted.

A review is also for the actual customer to review something them selves....which she did, and now 2 other people have decided to chime in when they had nothing to do with the ordeal at all. It can't be taken as constructive criticism when the things that are being said is simply not true. I could sit here and argue back and forth about this, but what good would that do? Literally every ACCUSATION is false and being turned into a circus at this point. If she chooses to give me a 1 star rating as a previous customer of mine, knowing that she is in the wrong, that's fine....I'll accept it, but when other people that weren't involved in our transaction go to interfere, that's just too much and a whole different story. This is being taken to a very spiteful level.

On April 13, 2013 I got married and Amber Chun was our Wedding Photographer and made our Wedding Cake it was a White 3 tier with 2 spacers in between wrapped with Red Ribbon and handmade Red Roses on top and on each layer of the cake and with 3 different cake flavors and Cream Cheese Icing and as a filling. I need to say that the cake was a design that I had picked off the Internet and she hadn't never done anything like that before with the spacers and she done an outstanding job. She came and set up the cake and then took Pre Ceremony pictures along with the full coverage of the Ceremony, Reception and more pictures of the Groom and I along with our Family and Friends and just the two of us. The cake was so beauitful and delicous it really stood out everyone at the wedding complimented on how beauitful and good it was and asking who done our cake. As a Photographer she really done an excellant job she took pictures after pictures and captured every moment of our special day. She stayed on top of everything and done an excellant job. After the Wedding she sent us a Preview of Our Wedding and I was so pleased with her work. I couldn't believe how good they turned out and we was so glad that we choose her to be our Photographer on our special day. She put all of the pictures that she had took on to a disc and gave me copyrights and I was able to choose the pictures and make copys of what I wanted to. She also made edits to any pictures that I wanted done. She isn't like some of these other photographers she really goes way beyond your exspectations of what you want. There isn't anything that I would have her do differently and we look foward to working with her again in the future. If you are looking for someone to do a great job rather it be a Photographer or Cake and be satisfied with she is the one to get. All I have to say is MONEY WELL SPENT!!!
