In summary: After a few training sessions with Wendy, we have seen a significant improvement in our puppy's behavior and are very happy that we paid for this training. Wendy was extremely knowledgable on how to train a puppy using positive reinforcement and fun games that you can play with your dog. She had answers to all of our questions, and even helped us train our older dog too. Wendy followed up each training session with emails containing a summary of the training session, in depth guides on various training techniques, and links to pet supplies that she recommends. I think I understand my puppy better now because she explained why he was probably doing what he was doing, which has helped me react more appropriately to his actions. If you're looking for a professional dog trainer, you will not regret hiring Wendy.

Wendy was extremely professional and great to work with. We were having problems with our Lab Beagle mix pup pulling and chasing squirrels where he was almost impossible to walk. Wendy provided us the tools by recommending a 15 foot lead and special harness to give our boy Walter more leeway to do his thing. She told us to be patient and to keep working with him. He still loves his squirrels but he’s so much easier to manage.

Details: 1 - 2 years old • Medium (26 - 40 lbs) • Private lessons • General obedience training • Leash pulling • Barking • My home, venue, etc.

The Life of Riley Pet Care's reply
I’m so glad the techniques and tools I demonstrated are helping you both have much more enjoyable walks together!

Wendy is very knowledgeable and helped guide us to train our 14 week old puppy. We especially agree with her positive training like rewarding her when our pup does something we want and not to reprimand her when she does something wrong. Wendy had a lot of patience with us and our puppy. We highly recommend her!

Details: 1 dog • 0 - 6 months old • Extra Small (1 - 15 lbs) • Private dog training lessons • Puppy training • House training • Biting • Chewing • Crate training • The dog trainer travels to me

We were pretty desperate when we hired Wendy. Our adorable little Vizsla Ruby was taking over our lives. Ruby was't the only one who needed training, we were the cause of a lot of our own frustrations. Wendy realized we needed her help, she was able to solve most of our problems quickly. She was very conscientious and caring. Ruby listened to Wendy and now listens to us. We couldn't be happier with the progress Ruby has made with Wedy's expertise. We now have the tools too make our life with Ruby the best. Wendy's knowledge and understanding of DOG behavior is SPOT on.
