Introduction: One of the reasons we love this job is that every wedding & event is different. Each has its own thumbprint, and we want to capture that not only when we're filming, but also in the editing process! On the day of your wedding or event, we come in, say hi to everyone, and then we film, film, film. We work really well with photographers, making sure they have the space & set-up they need. We also do not bring in big gear or lights, because we don't want to be a distraction to you, your photographer, or guests. While we might stage shots with your dresses, shoes, jewelry, etc., that is the only thing we'll stage that day. Everything else we just capture as it happens. All the emotions and details we capture are authentic and real! After your wedding or event, we talk about things we noticed - the mood, the music, the special things that made your day so unique. We decide which one of us is going to edit the footage and create your final films; we never outsource our editing work. We also do not use templates for your highlight or full feature films. It's why, when you look at our work, you can see a difference in the types of music, style, mood, colors/fonts, etc. Each one has been custom made to fit the couple and their day. Because we do all of the work from scratch, this takes us a little longer when we edit than some other companies who turn around everything in a week. We never want to just throw something together for the sake of speed! We also go through all of your footage very carefully, making sure that we don't miss anything that you might want to see or remember from that day. The comment we hear back most often from our clients is that they can't believe how complete and detailed their final films are! To top that all off, we're also a male/female videography team that has known each other for 22 years, and have worked together for over 9 years. We are practically mind readers at this point! We are both videographers & editors, and our styles meld together so you can't tell if more than one person worked on your project. We both love what we do & have the same philosophy: We are driven by wanting to do good in this world, and nothing makes us happier than a happy client. We are very grateful that we get to call this our "job!" Since we were children we loved creating stories, but we realized as we grew older that we enjoyed capturing the stories of others even more. There is nothing more rewarding than providing someone with a keepsake that will let them not only relive the day or event, but will often surprise them with things that they didn't notice at the time but bring a smile to their face or happy tears to their eyes.
