FAQs
- What types of customers have you worked with?
We mostly do remodels, repairs, and additions because of the times when we started. The market was horrible at the time and people were doing remodels instead of buying new so we adjusted to our clients needs. However build and continue to build new construction for our clients.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Go with a contractor they trust, don't settle until you trust the contractor. I ask my clients to be totally honest with me. How a finish came out, if a paint shade is right, my guys came in smelly, whatever it is talk to me. I judge my relationships with my clients by if they invite us back for dinner in the new kitchen or to the reveal for the family. It matters in the long run if you are happy because a happy customer sells for me so when I show up to bid a job, I never have to haggle because of the reputation I came with.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
I wish customers knew that cost and craftsmanship are associative. I wish they would consider contractors based upon their ability to make best practice decisions based on outcomes and not cost. Ask referrals if the contractor did the best for them as a whole and not solely costs. I make decisions I know the customer has relied on me to make and sometime its not worth the money and other times its not worth the savings.
