FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When I meet new people, I understand that they do not know me. It is a big leap for most people to invite someone into their home to look at what is effectively their life. I hold high respect to anyone willing to allow me to observe and try to correct their problems. I hold absolutely no judgment to a "mess" I understand fully. Life is busy and their is never enough time. I will evaluate what I'm asked to, and offer what services I can. I DO NOT claim to do more than I can do. If its something I'm not familiar with I will tell you. If its something I don't feel comfortable with I will tell you. Because of the HUGE range of things that can come out of a simple change I will say there are things that I may not be that familiar with. But, I do have a lot of resources or information that can guide me though them. I have to older brothers that are well established contractors that I can contact for information and help as well as other local professionals if needed. I will provide a detailed timeline and material list once things are determined. I am very methodic and do my best to give as much information as possible as early as possible. I want no one to be surprised in the end.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I grew up in a home that my parents built. We never paid anyone to do any services on the home. I was brought up with the teaching of how to build, fix, remodel, update, and love your home. I father is an electrician, two of my siblings are well established contractors and now I am trying to become one myself. I have spent the last 2 years working under someone else and I have learned a lot more than I thought I already knew.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I have tried to stick with primarily residential customers. I am not comfortable with the differences that are present with commercial type construction. I have, however, build a set of nice tile stalls at a fraternity house for Louisiana Tech KA house. I really enjoy kitchens and bathrooms.
