We hired MJ Marly to handle the music for our wedding. This being the first time we had ever tried to put together an event of this size we didn't know what to expect. Right away we were pleasantly surprised at how well he blended professionalism with a casual way of interacting with us.
He employed critical listening effectively to get a real feel for the atmosphere we were looking to create, and was able to make solid suggestions that fit our theme perfectly. This was a big plus given our inexperience in event planning too. It also helped that he was incredibly eclectic so when we bounced around to different genres of music to adjust the atmosphere of different parts of the event, he could bounce right there with us and work from the same page.
I would 100% hire him again for any event that warrants the services of a DJ. Really, he could charge more than what he does for his caliber of service, so all things considered the price was a steal for what we got!

DJ Marly was outstanding!! and I'm so happy to have hired him for my Wedding!! He was very professional from the start, and although I lived 4hrs away, the long distance was a worry for me, but he made me feel comfortable by always replying back to my phone call, emails, texts. He sent us a contract and went over every detail. We sent him a detailed list of about 150-200 songs and he was able to deliver! My wedding ceremony was outside and reception inside. The quality of his music was amazing and the guests were pleased and could not stop talking about how good DJ Marly was the whole night playing all their favorite music!!! I highly recommend him!!!!

Awesome DJ! Played current and older music that everyone could dance to. Was able to play every song we asked him to. Would definitely recommend!

He was very generous with his time and lenient on payments and communication. He understood that it isn't entirely a fairytale perfect dream wedding all the time and there is a lot to do which can be pretty stressful, and just wanted to make sure we were stress free and that he was willing to help.
