Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: My name is Travis Jordan and I teach guitar at The Band House music store. I have been playing guitar for over 30 years and have made it my career.....playing weddings, clubs, casinos, and parties....and I still perform two and three nights a week....I love to play every chance I get! I am a graduate of Musicians Institute(GIT) in Los Angeles and have also studied voice, piano, bass, violin, and cello. Enough about me....lets talk about learning to play guitar! There is a lot of stuff to assist you on the internet but I still think the best way to learn is one-on-one with a teacher and a personalized plan that suits where you want to go, what you want to learn, and at your pace. Lessons are 30 minutes once a week....Cost is $80/month.... cash, check, credit, PayPal. Give me a call or email if you have any questions, or would like to set up a free introductory lesson! Welcome to the wide wonderful world of guitar! Trav I love playing, and I love teaching others about the joy of music and playing!

Travis seems to be a great guy.. dispite me being a bit aprehensive and nervous, Travis made me feel comfortable pretty quickly.. didn't put any pressure on me, really enjoyed the atmosphere during the lesson... Now it's up to me to learn what he teaches.

FAQs

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I always schedule a free introductory lesson where we talk a little bit about the student's interest, musical tastes, and what they are hoping to achieve… Play guitar for fun, sing at church, join a band, play with the symphony, etc.… this gives me an idea of what direction we will take in our study. I also try to make you feel comfortable… Many people put off lessons for years out of fear of some harsh taskmaster of a teacher....that is not me at all! Music is such a joy in my life.... I want you to find that same expression. We work, but we try to make the work fun 😊

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

Kids of all ages… 6 to 86! People from all walks of life. Music truly is a universal language common to all of us!

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

First questions I ask every student… "What music do you like?" "What drew you to this choice of instrument?" "Where would you like to go musically?"
