Eric is fantastic! He is extremely personable and immediately makes you feel comfortable and relaxed. He is extremely easy to work with and most accommodating. His photography captures the uniqueness and beauty in each subject.Dec 5, 2019
I reached out to Eric Lacour about family pictures. My wife and I had always wanted to have "professional" pictures done of our small family, but had never ventured past acquaintances who happened to take pictures. Eric laid everything out about what goes into taking a good picture and was amazing explaining the whole process to us. He fit around our schedule to get our photos in and even managed to work around some unfriendly weather. The end results were more than we had hoped for quality wise and we finished with more prints that we loved than that we needed. Ultimately we settled on several different sizes and styles of prints and Christmas cards which were professionally cropped and edited, ordered, and delivered promptly. Eric was very transparent throughout the whole process and made it about the art of the photos, which left us with an amazing product and a desire to do more photography with him in the future.Dec 5, 2019
Eric is a true talent. He is warm and energetic and fun to work with. He immediately puts you at ease and his skill makes the end product really beautiful. It was a pleasure working with Eric. I would 100% book with him again.Dec 5, 2019
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? My prices usually involve an editing process, depending on the scope of the job of course. For the time spent photographing there is an editing process that takes longer than the shoot itself.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?50% deposit to lock down the date. The remainder of the sitting fee is due the day of the session. The basic edit and retouch are included in the price. If additional retouching is needed you will receive a separate bill. Prints can be ordered through the gallery provided.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have a unique combination of fine art (LSU) and technical photography (Brooks Institute) schools paired with assisting photographers on big-budget editorial and advertising campaigns.
