FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

We charge for our initial visit, because we tend to give much information and in many cases can give all of the information needed without doing any more than our initial visit and inspection. For any work past our initial visit we will credit the amount of the initial visit towards further work.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

We do an initial inspection/interview to get a handle on what created the problem. For mold we always want to identify a water source. Once we have a handle on the background of the issue and the customer's desires, we can design several options for the customer to choose from with a range of costs and features. Everything we do is private between us and the customer unless they request that we disclose information to a third party.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

We have two primary inspectors. Glenn Ray, CIE, WLS Glenn Ray owned and operated a restoration and remediation company in Louisiana for over 20 years. During that time he became an industry leader in both work practices and educating others. He holds certifications certifications from IICRC in Water Damage, Advanced Microbial Remediation, Fire Restoration, Commercial Drying, Advanced Structural Drying, Carpet Cleaning and more. He has also completed the Certified Restorer (CR), Certified Mold Remediation (CMR) and Certified Indoor Environmentalist (CIE) designations. He has served as President of the ASCR Water Loss Institute. He has also served on the review panel for some of the IICRC standards. Glenn is an IICRC instructor for Fire, Water and Mold damage. Glenn also wrote and teaches the Mold Certification course for the State of Louisiana through Louisiana State University. Glenn is also a Building Science instructor for LSU. Jason Ray Jason is Glenn's son and has literally grown up in this business. Jason has completed training for Water Damage, Mold Remediation, Commercial Drying and Fire Damage. Jason has also been certified as a Lead and Asbestos Inspector. Jason has also participated in Building Science programs such as the DET Testing program. Jason is completing his certification by the State of Texas as a Mold Assessor.
