I visited this store to have a consultation for drum lessons. The staff were all friendly and helpful. I definitely felt as though the workers were knowledgable and enjoyed their work.
Jake is awesome! My six year old daughter loves him. By the second lesson she was jamming to "let it go" counting rhythms on bass drum, snare, symbols and top hat. On the way to the third lesson she wrote him a letter with many hearts drawn on it saying I love drums❤ she remembers drum lesson day and asks when she gets to go back. Very impressive.
My son took lessons from Mr Aaron for 2 years. In that time, Robert learned to read music, play jazz, and made it in the district jazz band. He is very punctual, always with a positive attitude, and I love that my son comes out of the lesson energized to get home and practice.
Very knowledgeable of all types of music and a great teacher!
Incredibly helpful, responsive, and effective with a great teacher referral. Thank you!

I'm a professional musician who has been playing drums ever since I was 10 years old. I studied at Southern University in New Orleans and have traveled the world playing professionally with many bands as well as my own, which is known as The Kenyatta Funksters. They are still performing in Taipei, Taiwan. I'd love to be your teacher and help you learn how to play drums. Thanks! Sincerely, Mr.Thompson

I teach marching drum style only this is for students that want to learn or impove in marching drums
because I taught myself and learned mainly by ear. I've also attended Southeastern University here in Hammond Louisiana. There I learned several techniques from classical guitar; this stretched my love for guitar and changed the way that I play. now I am in two bands that both play all originals consisting of acoustic jazz, blues, funk and hard rock. I can play anything in a few seconds just by hearing it. I can teach you the same.
I don't just teach how to play drums. I also teach you how to think like a drummer and how to apply that to any musical situation.
I introduce students to the instrument, first and foremost, through music. Technical skills are the foundation of playing the drums, but rhythm and music are the soul. I adapt a typical rock approach to learning the drums and tune it to each student's musical taste and goals. Students will learn proper technique, ergonomics, and theory, all while developing a sense of musicality and playing the music they love.
