Introduction: I am a professional makeup artist and hairstylist based in New Orleans. I started doing hair and makeup for theater art productions in high school and continued to do what I love. Giving people a new way to see themselves is quite rewarding, and my passion for this industry shows through my work. I've done weddings, local fashion shows and photoshoots. I recently went to Mercedes Benz Fashion Week New York to work backstage on hair and makeup for the models. I was also the MUA for a new designer launch in California. My work was in magazines, TV commercials and the store opening backdrop.
While I do work in a salon behind the chair, I really enjoy to travel and do on-location type of work. I'm a hard worker and perfectionist, but I also love to have fun and be creative in my work!

She does my make up for every occasion. Balls, wedding and birthday. I always get so many compliments and it lasts all night! Love her! She also cuts and Colors my hair. No one else will ever touch my hair 🤝

STOP YOUR SEARCHING HERE! Tara is the bomb. She's incredibly versatile and really understands what you want out of your haircut. She wants you to be honest with her and encourages you to let her know if you don't like your haircut. (Which won't happen) I've been getting my haircut by her for years now. I tell her to move to Baton Rouge so I don't have to travel back for a haircut. Also she is incredibly flexible with scheduling. She doesn't mind giving a haircut that isn't during normal business hours which really helps if you're in a pinch.
