FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pet care visits within 15 miles of my home are $15 per visit. Visits run a minimum of 30 minutes, typically closer to 45 minutes long. Same for dog walking. House sitting is $60 per day. Cat visits are $12 per visit. Visits include feeding, watering, potty breaks, playtime, litter box scooping, administering medications, etc. They can also include things other than basic pet care, such as package and mail retrieval, watering plants, alternating lights, light cleaning. Whatever you need me to do that I can get done in the visit time.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I require an meet and greet at the clients home prior to the visits so that we can get to know one other and have time to interact with your pets. During the meet and greet, I go over my policies and procedures and what you can expect from me during the visits with your pets and answer any questions you may have.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I read everything I can about pet sitting and dog behavior, including training techniques. It is very important to me to stay informed and learn new things every day. I am also experienced with pet first aid, just in case.
