Introduction: Graphic design: I'm old-fashioned. Given the necessary tools and materials, I'd do printmaking, such as relief printing. Most people aren't aware that we can still do our own printing by hand rather than let a machine do the job. Photography: I love alternative photography, but I do not have the means to do darkroom. I love playing around with Photoshop to edit photos to look like old 19th century photography. I get to play with color, typography, photography, and hands-on media studies every week.

How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've always been an artist. I mean, there was never a time I wasn't. With design, however, I chose the path to douse myself in something semi-related to my field in order to participate in different types of media.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Designers and photographers don't exactly shit out their work. Believe it or not, every well thought out composition took time, research, and a lot of editing. Do not expect something to get done right away.
