- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
When finding the right technician for your needs, you'll want to consider the following factors: Is the company computer smart, business smart or both? There are a lot of technicians competing in this highly populated area who have great I.T. knowledge, yet fail to understand the importance of genuine customer service and relationships. Do they speak geek or in terms you can understand? Ask about their mission and vision statement. Proud owners are eager to boast it to you and you'll be able to tell how genuine they are instantly. Beware of back-door Bob: Help support you local businesses and economy by verifying the company is registered to do business within the state/parish. A legitimate owner will be happy to provide proof upon request. Don't get robbed by the hour: There are some tasks that fall outside of the norm but in most cases, a confident technician will already know how long the job will take. This will enable them to give a flat rate based on experience and the standard operating procedures that should be in place.
