This service allowed us to get to know each other in safety and we were comfortable to text asking questions prior to our 10 minute call. The first lesson was off to a great start.
My son Konnor and his best friend Brennan absolutely look forward to their Wednesday class. It gives them a break from all of their routine school work but it also helps them to grow musically.Life would be very boring without music. They love the fact that they get to learn the songs of today and yesterday that they have grown up listening to. I think it is fantastic that they have a fun place to get together with two amazing teachers Mitch and Jenn. Great job!
My experience with Mouton's consist of music lessons for two of my grand children and small purchases. Mostly I purchase guitar strings which I find they have a good assortment to choose from. My greatest experience has been watching the talent of my grand children flourish since taking drum and guitar lessons with them. Their instructors are very professional and they take a sincere interest in developing each child's talent to where the kids look forward to their lessons and interacting with other kids.
Brian Sanford has a master's degree in music education from ULL and a bachelor's in vocal performance. He is an active musician in Lafayette, both performing and teaching in the community.
I'm here to help you stay inspired and learn something new.
I teach guitar lessons to those who wish to learn to play. I've been playing guitar for six years since I was 12 years old, and I love to teach people to play. Nothing is better than seeing the same feeling of accomplishment and excitement, when someone gets a song or chord progression down, that I got when I began taking lessons.
I love to help others who love music. Anybody can teach you how to sing, but I want to help you discover your individual voice. I center my lessons around breath support, improving vocal range and vocal tone, as well as how to read music. I help with stage presence. I am also a piano instructor, and I teach from beginning to moderate piano.
It is illogical to use one piano-teaching method and apply it to all students. I believe that we are all different. We have our weaknesses as well as our strengths. The challenge lies in recognizing the strengths and emphasizing them, while fixing the weaknesses in a fun, yet effective way. If you have taken piano lessons before, you'd notice how much money and time you had wasted before you met me. It takes talent to teach and obtain noticeable results in a very short period of time. This is exactly what I do.
I attended college at University of Louisiana at Lafayette for 6 years. I studied as a business major, a music major and a music business major. I have been playing guitar for 13 years, drums for 8 years, and piano for 8 years. I have been teaching private students for 4 years now. I teach guitar, drums, piano, and music theory.
Anyone can learn guitar. All you have to do is care about learning, and I will help you with the rest.
At Elise's Piano Studio, I offer private lessons to ages five and up. Adults are welcome. Using the traditional method, I teach reading, rhythm, theory, and technique. Attention is given to the individual needs of each student and his or her stylistic preferences. Lessons are taught in an atmosphere of patience and praise while a professional atmosphere is maintained. Opportunities to participate in recitals and the National Guild Auditions are offered. Lessons are given at one-half hour, 45-minute, or hourly sessions. It is my goal to explore the music potential of my students and to deepen their appreciation of the arts.
I treat students as equals and have a passion for Music and Music Production.
I have over 10 years of experience and a passion for teaching high-quality music lessons. I have a degree in piano performance.
We offer music lessons in guitar, piano, violin, drums, vocals and more! The following are the frequently asked questions: * What do you learn in your music lessons? That question is often asked by prospective students. The answer is that our teachers make it a priority to get to know you on a personal level and to become familiar with your personal musical needs and goals. We do not treat every student the same in terms of what and how we teach. A seven-year old having his first guitar lesson will have very different needs than a fifty-seven-year old taking up piano for the 2nd time after having had lessons as a child. The main reason to choose Guitar Acadiana as your music lesson provider is that we are sensitive to the fact that every student is an individual. If you enroll here for lessons, we will work with you to make a plan that will fit your needs and musical preferences. At the first lesson, your teacher will ask you about your favorite type of music, and set goals to help accomplish whatever musical aspirations you have for yourself or your child. * What styles of music do you teach? We teach all styles from rock, pop, jazz, country, blues, and classical. * Are your teachers qualified? Our teachers have received their education from the School of Music at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Many of our instructors have gone on performance tours of the US and have over 20 years of professional performance and teaching experience. In addition to their teaching credentials, our teachers have warm personalities, are extremely friendly, and strive to get to know each student and their parent on a personal level. Guitar Acadiana does not require semester minimums for lessons. Every student here is on a month-to-month basis. We have rolling admission, so you could start as early as this month. Do you have a day of the week that is better for you? Please let us know the day and time. Thank you!
