- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Nothing complicated. Wedding videography. Day of (all day) and rehearsal dinner. $4000 New Client Rates 2 hour session $250 Return Customer 2 hour session $525 New Client 3 hour session $325 4 hour session $425 Return Customer 3 hour session $ 705 4 hour session $905 I am confident that you will return for more photos with me, as I know you will love them. So, I offer a very low first time rate.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm constantly shooting and working so that keeps me up to date. One usually finds or hears about something from other friends in the field, and that leads to further research.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've always been a story teller. I had a cinematography background, and it seemed very similar to photography--only slightly easier to be honest. There are less variables to contend with during still photography and we have one more control to get proper exposure--namely shutter speed. In true film cinemaphotography we don't change the shutter speed only the shutter angle which makes it a tad harder to control.
