FAQs
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
1) The lowest price is not always the way to go. Someone who is the cheapest is not always the best option. I know it is tempting to go with the least expensive option, but if someone is too cheap you definitely want to make sure they are staffing qualified personnel for you move. If they break everything in your office, the less expensive cost in the beginning, will not be worth it in the end. 2) Insurance coverage: This is a big one you want to make sure the provider you are requesting to do your work is properly insured, and can provide a current COI (Certificate of Insurance) with you or your location listed as additional insured. This will also cause someone to be less expensive on the front end, but you will be liable for every person on your property and every person they come into contact with that day while working for you. 3) Find out how many years the company has been in business. (Experience counts greatly in the moving industry) 4) Check BBB rating to see what their customer have experienced in the past. 5) Get at least 3 references for previous moves or current customers. Make sure that at least one can be traced back to a commercial company you can look up info for. (This way you are not just contacting extended relatives of the person running the operation.)
