Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: I began teaching cello over 30 years ago when I gave my little cousin lessons in exchange for my uncle giving me rides to youth orchestra rehearsals. Even as I forged a performing career (joining the Louisiana Philharmonic 22 years ago and performing solo and chamber music concerts frequently), I never stopped teaching. I’ve learned so much over the years about how to help students achieve their goals. My students are always up to good things. I hold Bachelor, Masters, and Doctoral degrees In music performance, and I have the rare skill of being comfortable and highly effective teaching students at all levels from beginning to extremely advanced. I teach out of my beautiful home in New Orleans, and at this time I have discontinued online lessons as my New Orleans studio is very full. I do not offer lessons in other instruments, only cello.

I started cello in 2013 and 2014, then stopped for graduate school. I finally picked it up last February, but was struggling finding a really good cello teacher because I’m an adult and my learning progress was not consistent. Finally I have Dr Jaubert as my teacher, and I’m not stuck anymore. If you are serious about playing cello(even though only as a serious hobby), get yourself a professor like Dr Jaubert. Then practice as what she taught you, you’ll see a big difference.

I have found the most amazing cello teacher for my son. She is patient and passionate about music. She has even sent video lessons when we could not make it. My son is always excited to attend his lessons. Her teaching style is firm but very kind. I would recommend Dr. Jaubert to any one looking for a great music teacher.

Dr. Jaubert is certainly a talented musician, and is also an incredibly gifted teacher. She puts in so much care and expertise selecting repertoire, organizing recitals and musicales, and supporting the students in their auditions and school performances as well. She is a terrific resource for opportunities in the area such as festivals, concerts, and competitions, and is completely dedicated to her students, all of varying ages and levels of musicianship.

My daughter has been studying cello with Dr. Jaubert for over two years now and she has progressed tremendously under Dr. Jaubert's instruction. Jeanne teaches with a overview to where each student needs to progress and is able to her her students to that skill level with manageable steps. Most importantly, she is always patient and kind with my daughter, whose love of cello has only grown. I highly recommend her!!

Jeanne is an exceptional educator! My child (12 years old) has studied the cello with Jeanne for almost 3 years now. I am very pleased with his progress, and I expect him to continue his progress with her guidance. She is a very patient, dedicated teacher. As a parent, I always feel that Jeanne invested her time in teaching my child. She usually holds 2 studio recitals, which are very nice for students to have performance opportunities. I can not ask a better teacher for my child's cello study.
