Introduction: I represent clients in tax and civil litigation matters. The proactive, enthusiastic approach that I bring to each individual case has helped me achieve successful outcomes for clients. My work is thorough and always strategized to best meet the unique goals of each client. I pride myself on staying readily available, so that when you retain me you know you have reliable representation. For this reason, I have multiple repeat clients, even in entirely new and separate matters.
I am licensed to practice before all Louisiana state courts, the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Middle Districts of Louisiana, and the U.S. Tax Court.
Prior to entering private practice, I served as a law clerk to Honorable Judge John D. Saunders at the Louisiana Third Circuit Court of Appeal. I have a B.A. in English from University of California - Los Angeles (UCLA) and a J.D. from Tulane University Law School.
I started my practice in order to solve people's legal problems during times when they need it most. That continues to be my favorite part of practice. I enjoy listening to clients' circumstances compassionately and without judgment to get the full story before I make a recommendation. I try to give people a complete picture of the law and process, including fees and costs, so that clients can assess risks and make educated decisions with as few surprises as possible. When a client decides to move forward with me, I fight for them relentlessly as not only their lawyer, but someone who knows their story and their goals.
