Introduction: Our fishing lodge stands out from all other fishing lodges in southern louisiana because we have two different fishing lodges on the water. The cajun vista inn is right on bayou barataria. The cajun chalet is only accessible by boat. The lodges are very tranquil and beautiful. Also we include meals, fishing and lodging. Our in house chef prepares 3 meals a day for clients that stay at one of our two locations. There is a recreation room for corporate businesses to do team building or have meetings or for other clients to enjoy a media room with a pool table and a foose ball table plus a big screen television for watching tv. Also we are the only fishing charter to offer sea plane adventures out to remote islands. Clients take a short ride in the seaplane to their destinations to fish on the private islands for huge fish.

Last winter, my husband and I watched Bill Dance on t.v. fishing for redfish with Theophile Bourgeois out of Barataria, Louisiana. We made our first trip there in June and immediately booked another one for October. We are avid fisherpeople and have traveled around the U. S. and into Canada, but we agree that we had more fun at the Cajun Vista Inn fishing with Bourgeouis Charters than any other trip. We loved the accomodations and especially the Cajun food. The guide made sure we were on good fish and even took us into the swamp to sightsee. It is a family-owned business and somehow they make you feel like family, too! We are already planning our next trip back. So far, three other couples have gone on our recommendation and had a blast. It was worth every penny and we can't wait to get back there! Whether you like to fish or not, you'll have a good time.

I have fished with Toe for the last three years and he has always put us on plenty of fish. The guides are professional and ensure a great catch of fish. We started out with three and this year there is ten of us going fishing. The guides are a blast to be with they will cut up with you and put you on fish at the same time. Bourgeois Charters went out of their way to make sure we had the time of our life---Our room at the Inn was fantastic and the meals were real Cajun cooking, not the tourist food most people have. Our guide Monty went out of his way to make sure we found the fish we were looking for and we even stayed out longer than expected---Could not have asked for a better guide or better service all around. What types of customers have you worked with?
We do inland fishing charters in the bayous of south louisiana. All gear is provided boat ,fuel, ice, bait, rods, sandwiches, water, soft drinks, licensed and insured captains who know the waterways and have been fisherman and captains for over 20 years. We are the number one fishing charter in south louisiana. We take you out fishing in the swamps of south louisiana to catch reds, bull reds, flounder, drums, catfish, bass, speckle trout and so on. We will clean and package your fish so that you can take it with you when you leave. We also do an all inclusive package which includes meals, fishing and lodging. You will sleep at one of our two lodges have meals by our in house chefs, fish, sleep and depart.
