Introduction: I have a Master of Music in Vocal Performance from San Francisco Conservatory of Music, as well as a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from Loyola University New Orleans. I have taken courses in vocal repertoire and pedagogy, and I feel comfortable teaching students with all levels of musical and knowledge of singing. I take a number of approaches to singing depending on the needs of every student. With some people I am very technical, and with others I like to take a more holistic, confidence-based approach. I love helping people find their own voice and go on a journey of self love and discovery to create the confidence in themselves to sing in front of other people.

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

My introductory offer for the first 15 students who make a commitment to weekly voice lessons for six months is as follows: $20 per 30-minute lesson $30 per 45-minute lesson $40 per one-hour lesson For the entirety of the six month agreement period! This is a $10 per hour discount!

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Stay away from a teacher who claims to be the "best", but rather choose a teacher based on degree qualifications and personality traits.

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

I wish more people knew how difficult singing is. This isn't something that just "anybody" can teach, and although people may be born with natural talent, they need to be taught good technique in order for their voices to stay healthy for their entire lives. That is why a voice teacher's role is so important!
