Pest elimination pricing is complicated because you must take into account things such as type of pest, seriousness of infestation, size of place, conditions such as sanitation, clutter, relative state of repair, customer expectations and in the end boil this down into "how much time will it take"
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
To maintain a pest control license requires taking continuing education classes in order to retain your license.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Like so many other people, I needed work and applied for a job that seemed interesting. It has proven to be incredibly interesting, both from a pest and people standpoint and I have not had a boring workday for over 35 years.
What types of customers have you worked with?
In the commercial realm we provide routine maintenance for roaches and rodents for hundreds of clients ranging from hospitals to pizza shops.
Residentially, termites, carpenter ants and bed bugs are the most common services we provide.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Do your due diligence; after all, you are inviting someone into your home or business to apply materials that are designed to kill things
