Bulent Guneralp Voice / Singing / Speech Lessons WELCOMING YOU IN ARLINGTON, MASSACHUSETTS AND ONLINE NATIONWIDE "It's incredible to hear the difference in someone's voice who has worked with Bulent." - Deirdre F. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Bulent Guneralp is an award-winning singer, voice teacher, coach, educator, a member of National Association of Teachers of Singing and the inventor of Guneralp Vocal Method. Mr. Guneralp's teaching method is surprisingly simple, direct and effective. Developed over 25 years as an active singer and voice teacher, the Guneralp Vocal Method explains the whats, hows and whys of vocal technique in a manner easily understood and immediately put into practice. He has helped singers accomplish in their introductory lesson things they have not been able to accomplish even after years of prior vocal training. Reviews speak for themselves. His students come from diverse backgrounds such as classical, opera, musical theater, jazz, pop, R&B, bluegrass, country, rock, heavy metal and public speaking. Beginner to professional, all ages and voice types. Come as you are. REACTIONS TO FIRST LESSONS... "Amazing! Simply amazing! I've taken lessons before, but none have ever stood out as much as this first one... Can't wait for the next one!" - Nestor C. online from Texas (R&B) "I’ve been singing all my life and I never met such an amazing coach... I learned so much in one session and I cannot wait to learn more." - Yasmine K. in-studio (Jazz) "Bulent worked with me - a total stranger - with great care, deep knowledge, and a gentle desire to see me improve. And this is all the FIRST LESSON... I give my highest recommendation." - Geoff L. online from Tennessee (Pop) "... just in one lesson I vocalized to high C with the knowledge he gave me. I actually, for the first time, knew how I did it. It was incredible. I was so happy that for the first time in years of voice training in upstate New York, 10 years in Manhattan, New York City, studying with teachers who sang at New York City Opera and the Metropolitan Opera, and not one of them was able to teach me what Bulent taught me in one lesson..." - Fausto Di Ianne in-studio (Opera) I enjoy helping students express themselves musically and live their talents.

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? The introductory lesson is 60 minutes. It dwells on all the fundamentals and is very comprehensive. It should be recorded as video by the student. After the first lesson, shorter lessons can be scheduled. Students are free to schedule lessons whenever they like (no forced schedule commitment). They may choose a recurring schedule, or schedule lessons whenever it works for them. Weekly lessons are recommended, but not required, because ultimately what matters is the quality of the lessons, and not the quantity. Consistent practice between lessons is critical. With a good practice routine, students can make great progress regardless of the frequency of the lessons, whether weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, etc.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Depending on the goals of the students, lessons include some or all of the following: physical warm ups, breathing exercises, vocal exercises and technical work, solfeggio, ear training, musical / repertoire / reading work, and audition / performance preparation. There are certain class materials I recommend to all students, and students are welcome to suggest any piece they like to work on from any genre. I encourage students to video record and analyze their lessons, which accelerates learning and progress. Audio recordings are not ideal. Usually phones and tablets are used to record the lessons. I teach in my Arlington studio, which is T-accessible, and has free and convenient parking. I also teach online (FaceTime, WhatsApp, Skype, Google Hangouts, etc.).
