Natasha’s 10 week whole body balance course was truly life changing. I’ve tried nutrition coaching before and Natasha’s is by far the best health and wellness coach I’ve ever had. She’s very warm, knowledgable, and worked with me on a plan that was clearly personalized for me. After the course not only were my eating habits changed for the better, but my whole lifestyle changed. I’m more energetic, am sleeping great, and just more relaxed and happy. Thanks Natasha!

6/26/2011 I recently graduated from the 200 hour teacher training program, having practiced yoga for about 10 years, this program has helped me discover what my truth is with yoga. For years I thought it was all about the physical stuff, well folks it's not. Daily meditation has become much more profound and my personal yoga practice has a deeper connection. Thank you to my teacher- Cathy.

If you are looking to relax and be good to your mind, body and spirit...you have to go see Robin! I have done reiki to open my mind, soul and heart and was surprised at how much better my "self" feels each time we finish a session. I leave with a renewed outlook on life with a sense of clarity. Her yoga classes are perfect for me and can be as challenging or relaxing as you choose. Pre and post pregnancy I found it felt great to just go and enjoy some good stretching. I have also attended Robins meditation workshop and am really eager to try this again. I always feel better and relaxed just being in Robins presence, she just has that effect on people!

It is with great pleasure that I write this recommendation for our Yoga Instructor at the YMCA, Cheryl Wolf. My first experience with Cheryl (as I was a complete novice to yoga) was that of warmth and immediate acceptance, no matter what level of practice (which for me, was at zero). She creates a nurturing, encouraging environment that allows everyone to grow at their own pace, in addition to inspiring each member to challenge themselves within their own practice. With the varying levels of expertise in the class, this effort could be daunting, but for Cheryl, it is comfortable and easy. I can truly say that no-one is left out, and everyone reaps the benefit of her instruction. Cheryl's teaching style is clear and meaningful, both in body and in spirit. Her well planned curriculum encompasses meditation, breathing, and yoga poses, where she is an active participant in all three. I have been to numerous other classes where this is not the case. In this way, Cheryl stands above all others and truly sets by example. Moreover, her message that yoga extends "off the mat" has been an inspiration to me personally and professionally. I am forever grateful for this powerful, profound message she has taught me, which is the true essence of yoga. I consider her a life mentor and an inspiration, and I give her my highest recommendation. Despina D.

Raquel was amazing! She really knows her stuff! I am just a beginner and have been interested in taking a few yoga sessions to test the waters. She was so patient and helpful in improving my yoga. Unlike some yoga teachers I have experienced, Raquel was very easy to approach and was able to correct me when she saw necessary. She is very professional and I felt completely comfortable with her. I instantly felt improvement after just a few sessions so I will continue seeing her.

I have been practicing yoga with Megan Bradshaw for several years. What I like most about Megan is she listens to my concerns and knows my past injuries, so well it's as if they were her own. Megan has given me solid advice for managing my hip injury, a torn ligament in my wrist and hyperextension in my elbows and knees. Megan has also made herself available to me for nutrition advice. She even helped me discover my sensitivity to legumes! I highly recommend Megan for any yoga or nutrition advice.

About

Yoga is offered for all ages, levels, lifestyles and bodies! Custom and unique yoga practices tailored to the needs of individual students. With a strong focus on alignment and hands-on adjustments, Lauren creates fresh and exciting sequences that will invigorate the spirit. Borrowing elements from Tai Chi, Budokon, Pilates and various yogic disciplines, Lauren can accommodate any level of athleticism, strength and flexibility. Anyone can practice yoga; all that is required is to step on the mat and open the mind. Class styles include: * Hatha Yoga This is a slower and more traditional approach. Postures are sustained while the focus remains on alignment and breath. This is a great start for beginners and yet still challenging for veteran yogins who want to improve postural alignment. * Power Yoga It is fantastic for building strength, focus and balance. With more time spent on the standing series, students will be challenged both physically and mentally as the core gets a serious workout with Power Yoga. * Vinyasa Flow For any level, Vinyasa flow classes are dynamic and movement oriented. It includes dance from one Asana to another and move with the breath. * Yogalates This is a yoga and Pilates fusion that is great for increasing core strength and toning glutes and thighs. Classes usually start with a standing series of yoga postures and continue with Pilates style floor work. * Restorative Yoga It is a gentle practice perfect for anyone yearning to slow down and relax. Restorative yoga is also highly beneficial for those recovering from injury or suffering from chronic pain. The majority of the practice is done in a supine position with the body supported by props such as blocks, bolsters and blankets. * Prenatal Yoga It helps you connect with your baby, continue to strengthen the body and relax the mind. Prenatal classes are meant to help ease anxiety about delivery, relieve tension in the body, and help mom and baby bond. Prenatal yoga is suited for any level and all trimesters. * Yoga for Hockey players Designed specifically for men who play hockey, Lauren’s yoga for hockey players series targets tightness that results from the love of the game. This series will increase balance, focus, stamina and stability both on the mat and on the ice. Specific attention is given to shoulders, hips and groins, increasing range of movement and strength in these areas, and making them less prone to injury. * Corporate Yoga

About

Yoga means union or yoking. I teach yoga asana (postures and movement) and pranayama (breath) physical practices. These practices tone inner organs and systems, as well as the outer physical body. Yoga has been practiced for thousands of years. It is a natural past time for creating maximum potential for health and well-being. Rituals and meditation are also forms of practice I teach. If invited, I can give puja in your home, office, or studio invoking Ganesh. I am in continuous training and practice for offering puja and can offer this if I am empowered to. DRawing Sri Vidya chakras is a sweet past time for mental health. Meditation on three dimensional Sri Vidya chakra helps create maximum life happiness. This is something I can teach to you or your group.

About

I teach yoga and nutrition towards healthy eating to individuals and groups. I've taught yoga at college campuses, gyms, YMCA, elementary schools, fund-raising events, and private clients. I've taught nutrition lessons to adults and kids and counseled on weight loss and healthy eating tips.
