I've taken Cait's vinyasa flow classes, community classes, inversions workshop, advanced backbends workshop, and New Years intentions retreat. Cait infuses a certain playfulness to her teaching. She's helped me tap into my own intentions for practice and to look at my practice with more curiosity than judgment. You can tell she's always there, present, 100% and that's what I look for in yoga instructors. Cait is always there early and stays to chat with people at the end. It's always a relaxing experience. I love that she does little mini-mini-massages of the head sometimes during savasana, and gently presses on my shoulders which are a bit concave.

It is with great pleasure that I write this recommendation for our Yoga Instructor at the YMCA, Cheryl Wolf. My first experience with Cheryl (as I was a complete novice to yoga) was that of warmth and immediate acceptance, no matter what level of practice (which for me, was at zero). She creates a nurturing, encouraging environment that allows everyone to grow at their own pace, in addition to inspiring each member to challenge themselves within their own practice. With the varying levels of expertise in the class, this effort could be daunting, but for Cheryl, it is comfortable and easy. I can truly say that no-one is left out, and everyone reaps the benefit of her instruction. Cheryl's teaching style is clear and meaningful, both in body and in spirit. Her well planned curriculum encompasses meditation, breathing, and yoga poses, where she is an active participant in all three. I have been to numerous other classes where this is not the case. In this way, Cheryl stands above all others and truly sets by example. Moreover, her message that yoga extends "off the mat" has been an inspiration to me personally and professionally. I am forever grateful for this powerful, profound message she has taught me, which is the true essence of yoga. I consider her a life mentor and an inspiration, and I give her my highest recommendation. Despina D.

I have been practicing yoga in private sessions with Allison for 3+ years. Allison tailors our sessions to meet my specific needs. She is mindful of the speed and the intensity that work best for me and that differs from session to session. Working with Allison has helped to decrease stress, increase flexibility, improve focus and build strength. Allison has a positive attitude and caring nature that also add to the experience!

The instructors at The Yoga Studio are professional, well-trained and take the time to teach proper alignment and technique. Practicing at the Yoga Studio has enabled me to deepen my practice on a physical and spiritual level. I love that they offer a variety of styles from restorative yoga to Vinyasa flow; I can always find a class to suit my need. Once I step into the studio I feel all the stress and demands of a busy life fade away. I always leave feeling refreshed.

I've been taking Broga classes with Tim since the beginning of the year, and his classes have become a part of my week that I look forward to. He has a very calm demeanor and and explains the poses very well for newcomers. I'm not a morning person at all, but I'd get up early to take his morning class. I recommend Tim very highly whether you're new to yoga or have been practicing for years.

Working with Mihaela has been transformative. I recently asked her to give my team private yoga instruction as a way to reward great work, and also increase well-being and productivity. She has given us all of that and more. We all feel an incredible change in our bodies, and minds thanks to her coaching. She not only gives us a great full body work out, but she helps us to deal with stresses and anxieties in life and in the workplace. We love working with Mihaela and would recommend her highly to everyone we know, and especially those interested in private yoga classes!

Krista has been one of the best private instructors I have had. I injured my lower back in the gym and couldn't go back to working out. Krista designed a program around me and my injury. She was very patient and a great teacher. I have made tremendous progress in core strength and confidence. I highly recommend her!

Being part of the "not-so-young" and "new-to-yoga" club, I find Cate's teaching style to be extremely helpful, encouraging, supportive and down-to-earth. Cate focuses on positive messages and practicing safely within your own physical limitations by modifying and adjusting poses to your needs. Cate makes you realize that Yoga is truly for everyone and all are welcome!

I always have the best time at classes that Daniell leads. She knows the needs of each individual and makes sure to cater to those needs. I would recommend newcomers and experts to take her class because there will definitely be something to learn for everyone.

Jen is an amazing yoga instructor- she challenges you without pressure or pushing you. Under her weekly instruction, I was able to gain strength and flexibility as well as a deeper focus on breathing and introspection. Her classes have great playlists and a fun flow. She is truly the best instructor, I have found and would recommend her classes without reservation!

Per my profile, I'm in the midst of teacher training now so if you're looking for an advanced teacher, I'm not your gal. However, I've been a student of the practice (particularly the asana- movement side) for years. Looking for opportunities to share the practice I love!
