Anita was great- we ( my teenage daughter and I) did a private first yoga lesson to get introduced to the practice. Anita explained each pose - the how to do and health benefits. She also adjusted the difficulty of each pose to meet our capabilities. I plan to sign up for a group session with Anita that's starting in a couple of weeks based on the very positive first experience! Anita's a great teacher!
Natasha has a way of connecting to you on a deep, personal level. She is able to listen, assess and make a plan based on your life style and preferences. She is dedicated to her clients and handles everything with professionalism, compassion and mindfulness. Natasha's tips helped me assess and reconfigure my habits, we organized my kitchen and created several easy meal plans for my busy life style. An added bonus, Natasha's private yoga classes are amazing! She creates personalized sequences and makes adjustments as you are going through your practice.
I've been taking Broga classes with Tim since the beginning of the year, and his classes have become a part of my week that I look forward to. He has a very calm demeanor and and explains the poses very well for newcomers. I'm not a morning person at all, but I'd get up early to take his morning class. I recommend Tim very highly whether you're new to yoga or have been practicing for years.
The instructors at The Yoga Studio are professional, well-trained and take the time to teach proper alignment and technique. Practicing at the Yoga Studio has enabled me to deepen my practice on a physical and spiritual level. I love that they offer a variety of styles from restorative yoga to Vinyasa flow; I can always find a class to suit my need. Once I step into the studio I feel all the stress and demands of a busy life fade away. I always leave feeling refreshed.
Corinne provides an excellent deep tissue, trigger point massage! She uses yoga breathing and aroma therapy using lavender essential oils are nice differences.
I have been having lessons with Kathryn for about a month now and I greatly enjoy the experience. I went into it not knowing anything about Yoga, and my knowledge has grown a lot. I thought I would only want one or two private lessons and then occasional lessons, but I look forward to them every single week now! I have been challenged in such a rewarding way and have increased my knowledge in the basic foundation of yoga! Totally recommend!
I recently decided to try yoga. I have never really done it before so I was really nervous about going to a yoga studio and being the only one that couldn't do it! A freind of mine suggested I contact Lisa. She was quick to respond and was extremely professional. I have had three private sessions so far and I can't say enough about her. I have leaned so much from her and she offers modifications for things I'm not able to do properly. I would highly recommend Lisa. She's an excellent instructor!
I have used Chavi for private yoga lessons for almost a year now. She is deeply knowledgeable about all aspects of yoga, its history and its application for addressing the total self, not just the body. She has a very strict focus on form to assure maximum sage effect. She is very busy, so plan ahead and be regular.
Rachel is amazing! I have been taking private yoga instruction with her for a few weeks now and it has been wonderful. Rachel understands my goals and has developed a practice that will help me meet those goals. She is very knowledgeable and takes the time to explain technique and proper positioning in poses, so I can get a deeper understanding of my practice. She is very welcoming and I felt comfortable working with her from the start. I would highly recommend her to anyone.
Kristen is by far one of the best yoga instructors I have experienced. Her kind, caring manner combined with her knowledge makes every yoga session a pleasure that carries throughout the rest of the day and beyond.
Lora is a gifted teacher. She provides clear instruction and demonstration of yoga, as a result my yoga practice has improved considerably with her guidance. Add to that her warm and fun personality makes her yoga classes one of the best I have attended.
Being part of the "not-so-young" and "new-to-yoga" club, I find Cate's teaching style to be extremely helpful, encouraging, supportive and down-to-earth. Cate focuses on positive messages and practicing safely within your own physical limitations by modifying and adjusting poses to your needs. Cate makes you realize that Yoga is truly for everyone and all are welcome!
ShantiLoft Studio for yoga and reiki is a wonderful place to leave the outside world behind. Robin provides excellent guidance through Hatha yoga poses and meditation. I have participated in yoga classes on and off for 25 years and believe yoga to be an excellent gateway to the mind, body and spirit connection however; having a sensational teacher is key. Robin does a wonderful job and keeps me coming back for more each week. I have also experienced a very restorative reiki session at ShantiLoft. If you are considering yoga or reiki, try ShantiLoft, you will love it!
Jen is an amazing yoga instructor- she challenges you without pressure or pushing you. Under her weekly instruction, I was able to gain strength and flexibility as well as a deeper focus on breathing and introspection. Her classes have great playlists and a fun flow. She is truly the best instructor, I have found and would recommend her classes without reservation!
Calm and professional with a good eye for my strengths and weaknesses. Amy directed the instruction that helped me without any stress or pain.
I am a calm, compassionate instructor who has taught a variety of levels over the past three years since obtaining my 200-hour certification. I like to have fun and help students learn more about yoga, their body/mind connection, and to ease stress.
Per my profile, I'm in the midst of teacher training now so if you're looking for an advanced teacher, I'm not your gal. However, I've been a student of the practice (particularly the asana- movement side) for years. Looking for opportunities to share the practice I love!
We are a small-mind body studio. We cater to one's individual needs. There are no two programs that are alike as are no two people. I offer yoga, Pilates, Reiki, barre, meditation and card readings. We change tour body and your mind for the best overall results.
I'm a senior and children's yoga instructor. I've been certified through the Yoga Alliance at Sanctuary Studios in Plymouth, Massachusetts.
I am a yoga instructor within the Boston area. I'm teaching vinyasa, hip-hop, yin and restorative yoga in both indoor and outdoor settings.
Yoga to the Tenth is a revolutionary practice of one-on-one, private, partner-assisted yoga for maximizing fitness capability and well-being, with particular emphasis on fixing musculoskeletal conditions that cause chronic pain. With a targeted series of yoga stretches, Linda's sessions directly identify and impact the prime causes in the body that create pain and specific chronic conditions such as: Sciatica Muscle spasms Lower/upper back pain Thoracic outlet syndrome Neck pain TMJ Carpal tunnel and more Most clients experience immediate relief from pain and can, over the course of 4-6 sessions and depending on the severity of the underlying condition, fundamentally change the way their body works and prevent the problem from reoccurring. Partner-assisted yoga is also recommended for people who want to improve their sport performance, general level of physicality, and live with greater flexibility and well-being. Linda intensively studied resistance stretching with renowned health and fitness innovator, Bob Cooley, author of the book The Genius of Flexibility.
