From our very first email correspondence I knew he was the best fit as manager for our 12-unit association, which was transitioning from self-management (pretty much just me). - What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Our property management staff constantly attends professional training and seminars and is involved in the property management community. We are affiliated with CAI (Community Association Institute) and all of our property managers have had extended training specific to community management and received the designation of CMCA (Certified Manager of Community Associations).
- What types of customers have you worked with?The bulk of our business is managing community associations. These consist mainly of condominiums as well as retail property. We also have a great deal of individual unit management clients who value our expertise in project coordination as well as owner services.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?Definitely make sure that the company you choose is the right fit for your property and not simply the least expensive. A property manager works closely with each property so be sure that your expectations are all agreed upon prior to signing a contract.
