Management needs

Responds within a day

Introduction: Unfortunately, the #1 complaint from property owners is that their management company "doesn't respond" to questions, phone calls or email. Many property management companies out there today take on too many properties. The thought behind doing this is making money. Although we are in business to make money, we NEVER take on more clients than we can handle, ensuring each and every owner and/or association receives the personal service they deserve. The best part about property management is that every day is different. I have always found it interesting to think outside the box to solve problems or issues and being in property management, I am presented with different issues on a daily basis.

Steve Hornsby was very helpful in the transition process...going from developer management to a professional property manager. It was hard making the decision to give control over to an outside party but in working with Steve we feel it was the right thing to do. Steve is knowledgeable, caring, and confident in what he does. He has many contacts that are advantageous to the small condo organization.

Steve is the property manager for out condo association. He has handled every situation in a professional and courteous manner. He is very knowledgeable about condo rules, responds quickly to all our needs and I highly recommend his services.

Steve really cares about his client associations. From our very first email correspondence I knew he was the best fit as manager for our 12-unit association, which was transitioning from self-management (pretty much just me). There's only a couple of issues where we "agree to disagree" but mostly, we're on the same page and that makes for a great working relationship on my end.

Steve has worked with us for only a short time but he inherited a mess and he is truly an honest, sincere and hard-working manager and trying to make things run smoothly here.

FAQs

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Our property management staff constantly attends professional training and seminars and is involved in the property management community. We are affiliated with CAI (Community Association Institute) and all of our property managers have had extended training specific to community management and received the designation of CMCA (Certified Manager of Community Associations).

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

The bulk of our business is managing community associations. These consist mainly of condominiums as well as retail property. We also have a great deal of individual unit management clients who value our expertise in project coordination as well as owner services.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Definitely make sure that the company you choose is the right fit for your property and not simply the least expensive. A property manager works closely with each property so be sure that your expectations are all agreed upon prior to signing a contract.
