David and an assistant came to my property to take a drone video. They were dedicated to producing a great video, even waiting to work between wind gusts.

Josh was knowledgable, professional, and a great collaborative partner! He was open to my ideas with my music's production, and really put the time in to create an end product I was happy with. You can tell that he takes pride in the projects he works on, and is invested in the artistic process. I'd recommend him to a friend!

Set up fast. Medium package looked great - smoke, lasers, lights + UV lights. Most importantly, flawless sound. Non-stop energy, huge speakers, music was constant and well chosen. All around nice job, would hire again.

I'm a singer / songwriter who was trying to find a local producer to work with. (I'd tried working with a producer in NYC once before, but got cut out of a lot of the creative process and wanted someone local I could exchange ideas with). I had some things in mind about style and structure, but don't have formal musical training and don't play any instruments well. Before meeting, Peter & I had a phone call to talk about what I had in mind. Thereafter, we had a productive email exchange trying to hone in on genre for my project. (Sometimes he wouldn't get a chance to respond for a while, but that didn't bother me since I'm not on a strict timetable). I was pumped for our first session together! Over the course of eight hours in his studio, we took a melody and genre idea into a solid production (it still needs some tweaking) and sketched out an idea for another song. Peter was patient with my lack of technical understanding and questions, and I was patient with his process of reverse engineering chord progressions from my melodies. He's an excellent pianist! If I was an accomplished musician and had brought more ideas about musical structure/chord progressions going in, we probably could have gotten even more accomplished in that time. I'm very happy with what we've done together so far, and have scheduled my next session! He gets busy, so plan accordingly!

I have had the pleasure of using Joe Idzal's professional services at All Things Audio in Natick several times, and plan to work with him again in the future. As an experienced musician and music producer (I was formerly the production manager at Rykodisc in Salem, MA and freelance producer at EMI, Chrysalis and Sire Records) I feel qualified to recommend his services to anyone looking for high quality audio services, in an friendly environment and at very reasonable rates - I can personally guarantee you will a) enjoy working with Joe, and b) be thrilled with the results.

David has been teaching me guitar for a little over a month now. I have already seen great advances in my technique, rhythm, and understanding of music. I have been playing guitar for 9 years off and on, and I have never had professional lessons. I can say that after a month with David, I am playing better than I ever have and believe that my guitar playing skills will continue to progress rapidly with David's help. His teaching technique is very casual and fun, almost conversational, and his insights are spot on. He is exactly what I hoped for in an instructor when I started looking at guitar lessons and I would highly recommend him for anyone who loves guitar, regardless of their skill level. He is a 'must hire' professional!

We hired Tess to play for our wedding reception and ceremony, and we are so glad that we did! Her playing really set the tone for the event, and we received so many compliments on her playing. Tess is such a talented harpist (my husband and I are both trained musicians, and we have nothing but positive things to say about her playing!) Tess is lovely to work with, and she is professional and helpful in every step of the process. I really cannot recommend her highly enough!

I had an excellent experience at Small Pond Studios. Johnny’s equipment is superb, and the quality of the finished product reflected it. The music was balanced and mixed professionally. As an audio engineer, Johnny handled our session with care and precision. As a person, he was attentive and handled any problems that arose swiftly. Quality work at a fair price. I look forward to more sessions at Small Pond! Ted Richardson Blue Heartache

Sam has been a wonderful teacher and mentor to my son over the last 2 years. The lesson goes beyond just music. Sam's ability to relate to children and his love for his craft excites engages whomever he teaches. He instills confidence and gentle guidance while engaging in lessons that allow kids to build upon their music week to week. I would highly recommend Sam for his professionalism, talent and his values.

About

I offer a variety of music lessons: piano, guitar, bass, voice, music theory, music composition, and more. I also offer music recording and production services. My business stands out because of my vast experience as a teacher and performer. I also offer much better teaching facilities than other music schools in the area. I also incorporate the latest technology during my lessons. Right next to my teaching studio I have a music studio perfect for voice recording and production, as well as instrument recording and production. I offer production and post production services as well including mastering and artist consultation. As of March, 2018 I am pleased to announce I am adding ESL to a service that I provide! My B.A. degree in philosophy as well as years of learning a second language and working in a Spanish speaking community have given me extraordinary skills in learning and teaching language.

Overall, from my perspective, I was impressed that Chris managed to keep such a wide range of kids (with such a wide range of abilities) interested, excited and learning new things. This is exactly what we need in our Winterim program and this was definitely a totally different and much more comprehensive “take” on the music industry as a whole than we have seen before. We have received all kinds of positive reviews, not only notes from the formal course reviews that all participants are required to complete, but also from parents and other faculty who witnessed the results. I take regular voice lessons with Tim and could not be happier. I tried lessons with others in the past but found them frustrating and made slow progress. With Tim, he immediately identified my range correctly (unlike previous instructors) and chose the appropriate type of training and exercise for my voice and the types of music I want to sing. In just a few short months, I feel that I have finally made real progress with my voice and my continuing lessons are always a highlight of my week. It's immediately obvious that Tim knows his stuff and is passionate about music. What I realized after a few lessons is that he also excels at communicating these things to his students in ways that are easy to understand and internalize -- essential when working with music!

I just hired Michael Moss at Soundscape Boston to engineer 2 of my projects. I chose to produce them at Soundscape Boston after meeting with Mr Moss and listening to the solid acoustics of the studio not to mention the exquisite design by Michael Blackmer. We recorded a rhythm section, string section, horn section and vocal tracking in the live room and Michael did a beautiful job on all the sessions. I recommend Soundscape Boston to any musician/producer who needs quality recording done with industry professionals within a fair and reasonable budget.

Ellie is not only one of the best producers you can hire on the east coast, but she has THE BEST work ethic ever. She is focused, open-minded, compassionate, and fun. Not only has my experience working with her on my debut EP been super rewarding, but she has become one of my best friends. 1000% would definitely recommend.
