I've been out of college for nearly ten years, out of basic math/algebra for...lets just say...longer than that.
With my recent decision to go back to school to become an RN, I had to take a math placement test. This worried me because I am notoriously bad at math, and had to take several remedial courses my first time around in college.
This time, I was determined to avoid that, I did not want to spend extra time or money on math classes that I wouldn't enjoy!
I went from knowing nothing to knowing everything I would need to test into the math requirement for my nursing program, and I couldn't have done it without Erika! (Seriously, every damn question on that test I thought to myself, THANK GOD FOR ERIKA).
I had three valuable tutoring sessions with her. She is calm, easy-going, and fun to talk to (someone who I have fun talking about math with, what?!). At the same time she is concise, to the point, and encourages you to solve problems until she can tell that you are really "getting it."
If I need further tutoring in math or science during my program, I have every intention of reaching out to Erika, and I would recommend her to anyone!
