- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Continuously... this may be my best competitive advantage: using, knowing and implementing new techniques and tools to produce a better product or improve delivery.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
In a vocational high school, I concentrated on drafting: my father was a union superintendent for carpenters... I studied architecture at a young age. Co - op ' at Waters Corp in pharmaceutical/ biochemical equipment. .. off to college with a concentration in mechanical engineering. My career was in full motion. Recruited to other employers for "next generation" concepts and progressive designs... eventually relocated to Florida. ..design Disney and Tupperware products sparking my creativity, my playful attitude combined with technical expertise. After a layoff, I continued with my desire to continue my creativity and design skills, coupled with my homegrown knowledge of woodworking and handyman skills. My father, my architectural influence, my teacher in tools... Three colleges and countless internships to build theory and formal training. My given talent, artistic abilities, and playful demeanor have all contributed to build the man/creator/businessman and father I am today.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I landscape, mow lawns, run to dumps... I manage offices, provide administrative support. I craft furniture, home decor, websites and a plethora of other skills to suit my clients needs. If I can't do it, I'll tell you. .. Although not beyond learning something new and working hard to achieve goals.
