Sam was a consummate professional. We hired Sam for a family party of approximately 70 individuals. We made a number of requests of him, the most important to me, was to connect with our 11 year old autistic grandson and have him join Sam for a song. Sam engaged him immediately upon arriving, listened to him play and then they play beautifully together. Sam is an excellent musician, but an even better person. We had four generations at our event and every one of them were complementary of his music, his voice and of him as an individual. In addition his booking agent Clara is responsive and communicative to make it a joy to do business with Sam. John O'Brien Event - Outdoor family dinner party Date - July 8th 2019Jul 9, 2019Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? The rate per hour is an estimate. The quote takes into consideration the location of the venue, number of attendees, the length of the performance and times at the venue, any special requests, sound requirements, dress code, among others. The fee for all songwriting services starts at $1,500.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Sam’s grandfather (“Papa Roy”) sent him to singing lessons with opera singer Bob Lischetti for several years, and Sam taught himself guitar. During high school, Sam began performing locally in Bradenton at restaurants and cafés and was a mentee of the Del Couch Music Education Foundation, which booked him for performances at local events. In the summer of 2013, Sam attended a five week program for high school students at Berklee College of Music (the world’s premier contemporary music school) in Boston. He was one of four students chosen to perform live in the “winners” showcase as well as one of four students selected to perform in the theater-in-the-round singer/songwriters performance. He was also one of the Berklee students referred to American Idol for auditions.
