We hired Carmela to do yoga with a group of children during our bring your kid to work day. The kids had a blast and I think Carmela did too! She was very easy to work with, on time, and an overall pleasure! I would definitely hire her again! Thank you Carmela!!!

Natasha’s 10 week whole body balance course was truly life changing. I’ve tried nutrition coaching before and Natasha’s is by far the best health and wellness coach I’ve ever had. She’s very warm, knowledgable, and worked with me on a plan that was clearly personalized for me. After the course not only were my eating habits changed for the better, but my whole lifestyle changed. I’m more energetic, am sleeping great, and just more relaxed and happy. Thanks Natasha!

About

I offer private and group yoga lessons. I am specializing in both vinyasa flow and prenatal yoga instruction. I've been practicing yoga for over 15 years. I focus my teaching practice on the style of vinyasa flow. I believe strongly in the importance of physical alignment. I became certified in prenatal yoga after experiencing the excitement, wonder and pains of my own pregnancies. Teaching yoga is a great privilege and Misha loves assisting people within their own practice.

About

I have been practicing yoga for almost 10 years and completed my 200-hour teacher training in the YogaWorks program (which is based on the precision of the Iyengar system and the flow of the Ashtanga method). I recently completed a workshop retreat dealing specifically with yoga for back care, with a special emphasis on scoliosis and other spinal issues. Yoga has also proven to be an invaluable addition to my other athletic pursuits, including several triathlons and half marathons. I enjoy working with clients of all ages and abilities and look forward to developing personalized yoga sessions depending on the students' needs. I recently completed a continuing education course dealing specifically with hands-on adjustments and offer hands-on modifications throughout private yoga sessions. I believe that when we practice awareness, mindfulness, and compassion during a yoga class, these qualities eventually become incorporated into our everyday lives. Ultimately, I see the greater purpose of yoga is to be more flexible, aware, and loving to both ourselves and others. I continue to be inspired by the ways in which both the physical practice and the philosophy of yoga positively affect my life, and I hope that I can inspire others to find joy and self-awareness through their own practice.

About

Transform your mind, body and spirit. Karen Kaplan, LMHC, NCC, ATR, RYT-500 began her career as a psychotherapist, earning degrees in psychology and expressive therapies and eventually in myofascial release, yoga, and integrative therapies with senior Iyengar teacher and physical therapist, Julie Gudmestad, David Vendetti and Richmond Dixon. Karen teaches and works with people of all ages. She has extensive experience teaching in studios and corporate settings, as well as working with individuals and groups who have physical injuries, joint pain, disabilities, Parkinson’s disease, MS and auto immune diseases. In class, Karen draws from numerous traditions of yoga, to help build core strength, to discover the power of the breath, and to bring the body into its proper alignment through poses using props and hands-on instruction. She has found yoga to be the most profound in its capability to transform the body, as well as the spirit. Practicing yoga brings a deeper knowledge of the self and an acknowledgement of how we deal with others and the world around us. There are no expectations and no requirements, only the desire to be present. Come and discover your own flexibility and strength; sign up and learn how yoga can benefit you.
